Who I Am
I am many things, including a communications team leader by day. I'm an INFJ on the Myers Briggs system, and that means I hate talking about myself. Though I'm the chief purveyor of the elevator pitch for my company, I can't seem to craft one for myself.
Maybe it's because I see people as complicated, faceted, more than just their surface. I want to know what makes them tick, who they hope to be, what they want to leave behind. This is a writer's domain for certain. So while I can tell you about my dog, my hiking, my downtown condo, I don't think any one captures the essence of who I am. I dabble in watercolors and cook mostly vegetarian. I read a lot, and lean toward strong female lead characters. I'm equally at home with Alias and Anne of Green Gables.

But before you pick any one of those things boxes to put me in, read some of my stuff. I'm still learning about myself, to paraphrase Michelangelo, or Ralph Waldo Emerson, or Norman Rockwell. (It was actually Seneca in 65 AD.)
For as Oscar Wilde said "Only the shallow know themselves." I invite you on the journey.
